TEMPLE MURDERS RE-TRIAL VERDICT WATCH
The jury continues its deliberations in the re-trial of Johnathan Doody, charged with killing nine people at a Buddhist temple in the West Valley in 1991. 10:30 a.m., Maricopa County Superior Court, Phoenix.
DRUG CARTEL SENTENCING
Enrique Ruiz Arce, who pleaded guilty to narcotic drug possession and illegal control of an enterprise in connection with a Sinaloa Drug Cartel trafficking investigation, is scheduled to be sentenced. 8:30 a.m., Maricopa County Superior Court, Phoenix.
HUMAN TRAFFICKING TASK FORCE
Governor Brewer’s task force on human trafficking will announce its final recommendations on how to combat the problem and improve ways to identify and assist the victims. 11:30 a.m., Arizona Department of Administration, Phoenix.
Senior Medicare Patrol will inform seniors about scams and how to protect themselves from people who will try to take advantage of their confusion over the Affordable Care Act. 10 a.m., Area Agency on Aging, Phoenix.
