ELIZABETH JOHNSON TRIAL VERDICT WATCH
The jury will have its first full day of deliberations in the trial of Elizabeth Johnson, charged with kidnapping and custodial interference in the case of her missing son Gabriel. 10:30am, Maricopa County Superior Court, Phoenix.
SB1070 APPEAL HEARING
The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals will hear arguments about a provision in SB1070 related to day laborers and blocking traffic flow. 9am PDT, James R. Browning Courthouse, San Francisco.
VICTIMS DAY OF PRAYER
Citizens for a Better Arizona, a group opposed to the practices of Sheriff Joe Arpaio, will launch a day of prayer and fasting for "victims of uninvestigated sex crimes." 8:30am, Maricopa County Board of Supervisors Auditorium, Phoenix.
