OFFICER SEX ARREST ARRAIGNMENT
Christopher Jay Wilson, a former Phoenix Police detective charged with sexual conduct with a minor, is scheduled to be arraigned. 8:30am, Maricopa County Superior Court, Phoenix.

MEDICAL MARIJUANA SHOOTING ARRAIGNMENT
Jesse Gillen and Stephanie Conley, charged with first-degree murder and other counts in connection with a Surprise home believed to be growing medical marijuana, are scheduled to be arraigned. 8:30am, Maricopa County Superior Court, Phoenix.

GLENDALE SALES TAX ARGUMENTS
The Arizona State Court of Appeals will hear oral arguments in the legal challenge over Glendale's sales tax. 10am, Arizona State Courts Building, Phoenix.

MCCAIN PEORIA TOWN HALL
Residents will hear from U.S. Senator John McCain about national defense and about the F-35 fighter jets coming to Luke Air Force Base. 11:30am, Peoria City Hall.

PLAN PHX
Mayor Greg Stanton and other Phoenix leaders will kick off planPHX, a way for residents get involved in planning how the city grows and changes over the next ten years. 1pm, Phoenix City Hall.

FAITH LEADERS PETITION GOVERNOR
Faith community leaders will deliver a petition with nearly 7,000 signatures to Governor Jan Brewer asking her to reverse course on her executive order denying driver's licenses and other benefits to those who qualify for federal deferred action. 1pm, Arizona State Capitol, Phoenix.

ASU CLASSES START
Fall semester classes at Arizona State University start Thursday.

PHOENIX COLLEGE FIRST GAME
The Phoenix College football team plays its first game of the season, also its first since the murder of Coach Land Jacobsen. 7pm, Phoenix College.

CARDINALS PREASON AT TENNESSEE
The Arizona Cardinals travel to Nashville to play the Tennessee Titans in their fourth preseason game. 7pm CDT, LP Field, Nashville.
