LIGHT RAIL NORTH EXTENSION
The Northwest light rail extension is now scheduled to open in 2016 instead of 2013. The 3.2-mile stretch will extend up 19th Avenue from the current end-of-line at Montebello to Dunlap Avenue. Officials will hold a re-launch, unveiling new signs. 8:30am, 19th Avenue & Montebello, Phoenix.

CARDINALS PRESEASON FINALE
The Arizona Cardinals play their final preseason game, hosting the Denver Broncos. 8pm, University of Phoenix Stadium, Glendale.

ASU FOOTBALL SEASON OPENER
