DEA BUST
The Drug Enforcement Administration is expected to release additional information Thursday about the search warrant served in a Sunnyslope neighborhood Wednesday morning.

FORMER OFFICER ARRAIGNMENT
William Bruce McCartney, a former Phoenix police officer accused of stealing drugs from the department's property room, is scheduled to be arraigned. 8:30am, Maricopa County Superior Court, Phoenix.

MOSQUITO FOGGING
Maricopa County will start mosquito spraying in Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Phoenix, and Queen Creek on Thursday. Earlier this week, the county announces its first West Nile Virus death of the year.

HEAT STROKE AWARENESS
The Governor's Office of Highway Safety, along with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and Phoenix Children's Hospital, will stress the dangers of leaving children in hot vehicles. 11am, Phoenix Children's Hospital.
