GOODYEAR ASSAULT SENTENCING
Christopher Shahin, who pleaded guilty to unlawful imprisonment and endangerment, is scheduled to be sentenced. He was accused of luring a girl into a vehicle in Goodyear and sexually assaulting her. 8:30am, Maricopa County Superior Court, Phoenix.
JUDGE SWEAR-IN
Former Maricopa County Superior Court Commissioner Pamela Svoboda will be sworn in as a Superior Court Judge. 12:30pm, Maricopa County Board of Supervisors Auditorium, Phoenix.
SUNS MICHAEL BEASLEY
The Phoenix Suns will introduce newly-signed free agent forward Michael Beasley. 12:30pm, US Airways Center, Phoenix.
CHALLENGER SPACE CENTER ANNIVERSARY
Challenger Space Center Arizona will celebrate its 12th anniversary with an event featuring Science Channel TV star Geoff Notkin of the show Meteorite Men. 1:30pm-5pm, Challenger Space Center, Peoria.
