Governor Mitt Romney will address the Associated Builders and Contractors National Meeting before he heads to Michigan for campaigning there. 8:30am, Arizona Biltmore Hotel, Phoenix.

HOARDING FIRE TRAINING
Valley firefighters say they are encountering more hoarding situations when they respond to house fires, risking the lives of residents and first responders. Firefighters will get special training for how to deal with these challenges. 7:30am, Tempe/APS Joint Fire Training Center, Tempe.

DON’T TRASH ARIZONA
The Maricopa Association of Governments is unveiling a new ad campaign targeting litterers. Arizona Diamondbacks player Ryan “Tatman” Roberts will be a spokesperson for the “Don’t Trash Arizona” campaign. 3pm, District Stage, Tempe Marketplace.

KYRENE MANSION VOTE
The Chandler City Council is scheduled to vote on a use permit to allow a mansion near Ray and Kyrene to be turned into a event facility. Neighbors have been divided on the project. 7pm, City Council Chambers, Chandler.
