BEE ATTACK LIFE SAVING AWARDS
The Glendale Fire and Police Departments will recognize a four-year-old girl and her grandmother whose actions saved each other's lives during a bee attack back in August. 12 p.m., Fire Station 151, Glendale.

FERAL CAT CLINIC
Arizona Humane Society veterinarians will perform more than 100 pre-scheduled, free-roaming and feral cat spay and neuter surgeries. AHS and the Animal Defense League of Arizona recently announced a Spay Neuter Pilot Program to help control pet overpopulation. 7 a.m., Arizona Humane Society Sunnyslope Public Clinic, Phoenix.

CONSTABLE ARSON SENTENCING
Jonathan Levenson, a former Maricopa County constable, who pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit arson, is scheduled to be sentenced. He was accused of conspiring to burn down his home for insurance money. 8:30 a.m., Maricopa County Superior Court, Phoenix.

PHOENIX INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY ANNOUNCEMENT
Phoenix International Raceway will make a "landmark announcement" about the 2013 race weekend schedule. 12 p.m., Royal Palms Resort, Phoenix.
