SCHOOL PLOT PLEA CHANGE
The Red Mountain High School teen accused in a school shooting plot is scheduled to be in court for a change of plea hearing. Prosecutors are expected to recommend she undergo probation and counseling. 9 a.m., Juvenile Court Center Southeast, Mesa.
JODI ARIAS TRIAL
Jodi Arias returns to the witness stand for more prosecution cross-examination in her murder trial. 10:30 a.m., Maricopa County Superior Court, Phoenix.
POPE'S LAST DAY
Pope Benedict XVI will say farewell to the Vatican on Thursday, flying in a helicopter to his home in Castel Gandolfo, Italy.
PHOENIX STATE OF CITY
Phoenix Mayor Greg Station will deliver his State of the City Address. 12:15 p.m., Sheraton Phoenix Downtown Hotel.
GLENDALE STATE OF CITY
Glendale Mayor Jerry Weiers will deliver his State of the City Address. 6:30 p.m., Glendale Civic Center.
CPR LIFE SAVERS
Two people who performed CPR on a man who went into cardiac arrest will be honored for their life-saving actions. 10:30 a.m., Los Cedros Stable, Scottsdale.
NASCAR AT WESTGATE
Phoenix International Raceway is hosting a free FanFest for NASCAR fans, including an opportunity to meet this year's Daytona 500 winner Jimmie Johnson. NASCAR is in town for a full weekend of races. 5:30 p.m., Westgate, Glendale.
