TUCSON SHOOTINGS SENTENCING
Jared Loughner, who pleaded guilty to 19 counts in August connected to the Tucson shootings, is scheduled to be sentenced. Victims and victim families will address the court. The plea agreement, which allowed Loughner to avoid the death penalty, calls for seven consecutive life sentences followed by an additional 140 years in prison. 10 a.m., DeConcini U.S. Courthouse, Tucson.

FREED MAN SPEAKS
Bill Macumber, who was released from prison Wednesday after serving 37 years for murders he maintains he never committed, will speak to the media for the first time. 3 p.m., Perkins Coie Law Firm, Phoenix.

The Maricopa County Elections Department continues to work through the hundreds of thousands of uncounted early and provisional ballots.
