Testimony continues Thursday in the trial of Phoenix Police Officer Richard Chrisman, charged with second-degree murder. A forensic expert was on the stand Wednesday. 10:30 a.m., Maricopa County Superior Court, Phoenix.
TEMPLE MURDERS RE-TRIAL
Thursday is Trial Day Two in the case of Jonathan Doody, charged with killing nine people at a Buddhist temple in the West Valley in 1991. The first witness up may be the person who found the bodies. 10:30 a.m., Maricopa County Superior Court, Phoenix.
DNC MEETING IN SCOTTSDALE
The Democratic National Committee holds is summer meeting in the Valley on Thursday and Friday. 9 a.m., Fairmont Scottsdale Princess.
CARDINALS BREAK CAMP
The Arizona Cardinals break training camp on Thursday. The team plays its third preseason game Saturday at home against the San Diego Chargers.
