OFFICER SHOT ARRAIGNMENT
Brandon McCabe, arrested for attempted first-degree murder, aggravated assault, and other charges related to shooting a Phoenix police officer, is scheduled to be arraigned. 8:30am, Maricopa County Superior Court, Phoenix.
MEDICAL MARIJUANA CLUBS
Medical marijuana dispensary owners and medical marijuana patients will hold a news conference about the problems with unregulated "marijuana clubs." 10am, House Lawn, Arizona State Capitol, Phoenix.
THE ARIZONA WE WANT
The Center for the Future of Arizona, chaired by former Arizona State University president Dr. Lattie Coor, will release a new report describing eight goals for the state in key areas like education, job creation, health care, and young talent. 7:30am, Ritz-Carlton, Phoenix.
GOVERNOR BREWER IN YUMA
Arizona Governor Jan Brewer will travel to Yuma to re-deliver her State of the State Address and to hold another Medicaid rally. 1pm address, Arizona Western College, Yuma. 3pm rally, Yuma Regional Medical Center.
ASU GROUNDBREAKING
Arizona State University will break ground on Block 12, a new building that will house the Del E. Webb School of Construction, a market, and study space scheduled to open in July 2014. 3:30pm, College Avenue & 7th Street, Tempe.
