PHOENIX - An Ohio doctor, famous for his alternative methods to medicine, is in the Valley hosting events over the weekend.

Dr. Nemeh said he's helped more than 200,000 people in his 23 years of using faith and spirituality as a form of medicine.
"It's amazing," said Steve Sharpe, who was diagnosed with rectal cancer and says it was cured after he attended one of the doctor's healing services. .
"That's when ... I got better," he said.
Dr. Nemeh is in the Valley, hosting events throughout the weekend, but a ticket to see the doctor will cost about $95.
"If he really is trying to promote faith-based healing, you can't help but wonder why he's trying to make a lot of money off it," said Doctor Kerry Green, a Valley physician.
Green said you shouldn't discount the benefits of modern medicine just yet.
"If people want to be healed and they believe that they can be healed, often times they are," he said.
While there are those who question Dr. Nemeh's methods, Sharpe said he can dispel any critics.
"You have to believe," he said. "I'm proof."
