PHOENIX - Wednesday is the last day for payday loans in Arizona.

Considering interest rates exceeding 400 percent, this may sound like a good thing.

But for the thousands of people who depend on them, what will be a good thing in the long run is sending them into a panic right now. Many are stuck in the lending cycle and turn to these loans each month to stay afloat.

Wednesday from 6am – 5pm the Non-profit group Take Charge America is hosting a phone bank to assist people in the transition. Certified credit counselors will be available to answer questions. Call (866) 750 9630 if you need help.
