Latino rights group urges moving Arizona MLB All-Star game

The nation's largest Latino civil rights group is pressuring Major League Baseball to move the 2011 All-Star game from Phoenix to protest Arizona's tough new illegal immigration law.
Calls to move the game have been ongoing since the law was signed by Gov. Jan Brewer in late April. Baseball commissioner Bud Selig has rejected calls to move the game, saying baseball has a strong minority hiring record and has lived up to its responsibilities.
Some Arizona groups also have urged MLB not to move the game, saying that would costs jobs for innocent people, including many in the Hispanic community.
Thursday's announcement by the National Council of La Raza says holding the game in Arizona means many of the players would be subject to racial profiling.
