KINGMAN, AZ - A Kingman man is in custody in connection with the fatal shooting of his neighbor in northwestern Arizona.
Mohave County Sheriff's officials say 70-year-old James Clifton Craft is being held on suspicion of second-degree murder.
Deputies and detectives responded to a shooting at a Kingman home about 10 p.m. Tuesday.
They say 27-year-old Matthew James Paulson was found dead inside his residence.
Investigations say Paulson was upset for unknown reasons and yelled at Craft from outside their joint front yard.
Craft later told authorities that he shot a man outside his front door.
He was arrested without incident. Deputies say they confiscated a semi-automatic handgun from the scene.
The case remains under investigation and autopsy results on Paulson are pending.
Authorities didn't immediately know Wednesday if Craft had a lawyer.
