PHOENIX - Gasoline prices at the pump around Arizona are lower for the fifth consecutive week.
Officials with Triple-A Arizona said Thursday that the average statewide price for unleaded regular gasoline is at $3.25 a gallon. That's more than a penny lower than last week.
This week's national average is at $3.32 per gallon, down by more than 3 cents from the previous week.
The East Valley area that includes Mesa, Tempe, Chandler, Gilbert, Ahwatukee, Apache Junction and Queen Creek has Arizona's lowest average gasoline price at $3.15 a gallon while Flagstaff has the highest at $3.51.
Missouri has the lowest average gas prices in the continental U.S. at $3.01 a gallon with California having the highest at $3.76 a gallon.
