SEQUESTER CUTS DEADLINE
Sequestration goes into effect at 11:59 p.m. EST if the President and Congressional leaders can't reach an agreement.

NAKED CARJACKER SENTENCING
John Brigham, accused of being naked during an alleged carjacking, is scheduled to be sentenced. He pleaded guilty to robbery, theft of means of transportation, aggravated assault, and endangerment. 1:30 p.m., Maricopa County Superior Court, Phoenix.

LIVING WITH CORPSE SENTENCING
Erik Grumpelt, accused of living with the decomposing corpse of his girlfriend, is scheduled to be sentenced. He pleaded guilty to manslaughter. 1:30 p.m., Maricopa County Superior Court, Phoenix.

NASCAR AT PIR
A weekend of NASCAR racing at Phoenix International Raceway kicks off with Friday's Mexico Toyota Series 75 Race.

ASU DISNEY ANNOUNCEMENT?
Arizona State University is planning what they call a major announcement, and although the news release is vague, it does contain an image of Mickey Mouse's hand sporting a "Go Devils" finger configuration. 2 p.m., Memorial Union, Arizona State University, Tempe.
