PHOENIX - The Democratic primary for Arizona attorney general remained tight Tuesday night, as former state financial regulator Felecia Rotellini held a slight lead over state Rep. David Lujan.
As of 9:50 a.m., Rotellini claimed 41 percent of the vote while Lujan also held on to 41 percent.
The two candidates were separated by less than 1,400 votes.
The candidates are vying to replace Attorney General Terry Goddard, who is running for Governor.
The Republican primary for attorney general was also a tight race early Wednesday, with Andrew Thomas and Tom Horne separated by only hundreds of votes.
