PHOENIX - Arizona Governor Jan Brewer said she is an “equal-opportunity pointer” one week after she came under fire for pointing at President Barack Obama at a Mesa airport.
The two leaders could be seen engaged in an intense conversation at the base of Air Force One's steps when the president visited the Valley on January 25 th.
In response to the snapshot that sparked national headlines, Brewer said, "A picture is what it is, but I must say that I was not hostile, I was trying to be very very gracious. I respect the office of the president and I would never be disrespectful in that manner." Read more.

Brewer was photographed pointing at Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu Wednesday.
The governor then posted a photo of the moment to her Twitter account and said, “See, I’m an equal-opportunity pointer! Great seeing Sheriff Babeu today!!”
