Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer left the state on a trip Sunday, and aides have kept quiet on exactly where she went, though new reports may give away her destination.
Multiple reports have been recently published, stating that Gov. Brewer is in Afghanistan visiting Arizona troops, according to a secret source.
She also reportedly visited a wounded soldier Monday at a Washington D.C. hospital.
The Huffington Post cites a Bloomberg report, adding that Secretary of State Ken Bennett is "(overseeing) the official certification of Arizona's recent election results as acting governor."
According to Bloomberg, Gov. Brewer's spokesperson said that she is "out of state on official business" but that he could not report any further.
Politico reports the news from the same Bloomberg report, saying the governor will be gone until this weekend.
