Arizona Corporation Commission gets new leader; Jodi Jerich will start Monday

PHOENIX - The Arizona Corporation Commission is getting a new leader
The commission announced Friday that Jodi Jerich will serve as its executive director beginning Monday.
She comes to the commission after serving around three years as director of the Arizona Residential Utility Consumer Office, a state agency that advocates for consumers on electric, gas, phone, water and telecommunication issues.
Jerich has prior direct experience with the Arizona Corporation Commission, having served as policy adviser to former Commissioner Mike Gleason from 2002-2004.
The commission is responsible for granting or denying utility rate adjustments, enforcing transportation safety and public service requirement.
