SONS SHOT TRIAL PENALTY PHASE

CHILD ABUSE ARRAIGNMENT
Benjamin Cooper, charged with two counts of child abuse in connection with injuries to his five-week-old infant son, is scheduled to be arraigned. 8:30 a.m., Maricopa County Superior Court, Phoenix.
HOMELESS & HUNGER
Arizona Governor Jan Brewer will proclaim Tuesday as "Phoenix Rescue Mission Day" as part of National Homeless Month, raising awareness for efforts to end hunger and homelessness in the Phoenix metro area. 11:30 a.m., Phoenix Rescue Mission.
