New scams are popping up on Facebook looking to exploit the recent bombing and shootings in Norway.
The issue was raised in a blog post by security software provider Websense.
According to an article posted in PCWorld , the scam has gone viral and is infecting one user every second.
It is a “clickjacking" scam, posting fake links on users' news feeds. They use headlines from major news stories like the shootings in Norway and the Casey Anthony trial to get people to click on them.
PC World wrote that the scam also adds Facebook Chat as an additional lure.
Users should only click on links they know.
