LAS VEGAS - The annual Consumer Electronics Show is happening this week in Las Vegas where the latest technology can be seen.
Laptops and televisions seem to be going on a diet and “thin” is the big word at CES.
First of all laptops are thinner and lighter than ever before and it is the same thing with TVs.
Organic LED from Samsung is less than half an inch thick. It's amazing when you see how thin it is in person.
They haven't announced the price, yet.
They say it'll be out this year, but you can imagine it's going to be pretty expensive.
Those here at CES say there's a price to pay to be the first one in the neighborhood with the new technology.
If you're an early adopter you're going to pay top dollar.
The ultra thin laptops are called ultrabooks.
They have a similar thickness as a tablet computer, but it's a full blown laptop.
Expect to see a lot of these throughout 2012.
I’ll be posting pictures throughout the day on Friday on my Facebook page .
