Murder victim 'dumped' in Tolleson identified as Hector Sanchez Duque

TOLLESON, AZ - Authorities have identified a man found dead along a road in Tolleson Friday morning.

The victim was identified as 43-year-old Hector Sanchez Duque of Phoenix.

According to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, a man driving to work discovered Duque's body near 119th and Southern avenues.

The victim was found face down with his hands and feet tied behind his back.

Authorities say Duque had no known ties to the address where the body was found and that detectives believe this is a murder and the victim's body was dumped at the location.

The Medical Examiner's office has not yet released the cause of death.

No other details were made available Monday morning.
