SURPRISE, AZ - Authorities say a restaurant worker was injured during a robbery in Surprise Friday morning.
Surprise police Sgt. Donovan said that around 6:15 a.m. two armed and masked men went into Jim's Burgers & Eggs, near Greenway Road and Cotton Lane, and robbed two employees at gunpoint.
During the robbery, one of the employees was assaulted, receiving minor injuries.
The two suspects left on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
No suspect information was immediately available.
