SURPRISE, AZ - A Valley teacher has been arrested for stealing from the drama club at her Suprise school, according to officials.
Surprise Police Department spokesman Mark Ortega said Don Evelyn Fuller was taken into custody Wednesday for stealing $1,300 from the Valley Vista High School drama club.
Fuller, a Scottsdale resident, is a drama teacher at the West Valley school.
Ortega said Fuller initially stole from the till during a school performance. The theft was reported on July 8th, and after several interviews Fuller was arrested.
Fuller reportedly confessed to police and said she'd been trying to return the money.
