SURPRISE, AZ - An entire family had to be rescued after their car wound up in a Surprise canal Wednesday.
The vehicle landed in a canal near Cactus and Citrus Roads and was carrying three occupants, including a 7-month-old child said Sgt. Brandon Jones with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.
Police said all three people received minor injuries.
Air15 video showed a red vehicle overturned in a canal while fire crews worked to provide first aid to the occupants.
The names of those involved in the crash have not yet been released.
