YOUNGTOWN, AZ - The Maricopa County Sheriff's office is asking for the public's help finding the person who dumped a Shih-Tzu puppy in the trash Saturday afternoon.
Sheriff's department spokesman Brandon Jones said the dog was found in a QT convenience market dumpster near 111th Avenue and Olive.
Jones said the dog was taken to a veterinarian where it later died.
The Sheriff's office is looking for information regarding the owner of the animal, or any person who may be involved in this incident.
