PHOENIX - An Arizona man has been arrested for traveling to California to allegedly have sex with a minor.

FBI officials and federal prosecutors in Los Angeles announced the arrest Friday of 42-year-old Michael Killala of Peoria.

A federal grand jury in Riverside indicted Killala on Wednesday with traveling interstate for the purpose of engaging in sexual conduct with a boy.

Authorities say Killala allegedly traveled to California on two occasions to meet the victim with whom he had been corresponding online. The complaint alleges Killala traveled to California in December and then in January to engage in sex with the underage boy.

Killala was arrested Jan. 22 at a hotel in Ontario, Calif. He's being held without bond and is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Riverside.
