PEORIA, AZ - Officials say two people escaped injury when their aircraft made an emergency landing in the northwest Valley Tuesday morning.
Peoria Fire Department spokeswoman Amanda Jacinto said when rescue crews arrived at the scene near Lake Pleasant Parkway and Carefree Highway they found an ultralight aircraft down with two people already out of the aircraft.
Jacinto said no one was injured.
Air15 video showed the small aircraft in some brush next to the road.
There was no immediate word on what caused the mishap.
