PEORIA, AZ - A lockdown at a Peoria elementary school has been lifted after a Friday dispute between two roommates prompted police to get involved.
The lockdown began around 2 p.m. at Oasis Elementary School, located at Sweetwater and 79th avenues.
Peoria police spokeswoman Amanda Jacinto said the school was locked down as a precaution after one of the roommates went inside a home in the area and refused to come out.
The situation was resolved just before 5 p.m.
It is unclear if any arrests have been made.
