PEORIA, AZ - Police say a suspect is on the loose after shooting a teen around midnight Saturday morning in Peoria.
Peoria police said the shooting took place in a Goodwill parking lot in the area of Grand and Peoria avenues.
The male suspect allegedly went to the male victim's home and an altercation erupted, police said.
The 16-year-old victim then tried to run away and was shot in the back in the parking lot, police said. He's expected to be OK.
Police describe the suspect at large as a Hispanic male about 5-feet-5-inches tall, seen leaving in a newer gold pickup truck. His age is unknown.
