PEORIA, AZ - Peoria police say a woman who went missing last week was found dead in her vehicle late Wednesday night.
Dolores Hulda Lynch, a 77-year-old from Peoria, was last seen leaving her home around 10:30 p.m. Friday in her gray 1999 Nissan Sentra.
According to Peoria police spokesman Jay Davies, a Pinal County Sheriff’s deputy found her deceased in her vehicle around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday off the road in a desert area in San Tan Valley.
He said there were no signs of foul play.
Lynch had directions to an East Valley casino with her, which appeared to be her destination.
She was said to be in the early stages of dementia and was also diabetic.
Lynch’s family said that leaving without contacting them was not normal for her and that they visit her on a daily basis.
