PEORIA, AZ - A 17-year-old Peoria girl has joined her mother and brother in being arrested in the killing of the girl's father.
Police said they arrested the girl Tuesday in the March 1 killing of Steven Gibson Sr. He was bludgeoned and stabbed and his throat was cut.
The 17-year-old daughter, Alysa Gibson, is accused of first-degree murder, conspiracy and hindering prosecution, according to police.
The girl's mother, 41-year-old Michelle Gibson, and her 15-year-old brother have pleaded not guilty.
Authorities allege in court documents that the mother and son planned the murder, with the mother alleging domestic violence and saying she feared her husband would kill her.
A 16-year-old boy also is charged in the case.
