PEORIA, AZ - A serious 2-car crash closed the northbound lanes of the Loop 101 at Thunderbird for several hours Tuesday night
Department of Public Safety officials said one person suffered serious injuries in the crash that happened around 6:30 p.m.
The freeway was closed for at least four hours while police cleared the scene.
Police are still investigating what caused the crash.
