LAVEEN, AZ - Silent Witness is releasing new details about a shooting last month at a Laveen park that left a teenager dead.
Brandon Gongora, 19, was shot and killed on May 9 around 8:30 p.m. at Trailside Point Park.
He was playing basketball with his cousin when police say an unrelated argument broke out in the parking lot.
One of the men in that argument, reportedly, pulled out a rifle and fired multiple shots at the park.
Gongora was shot in the head. Police believe he was an unintended target.
Initial suspect descriptions were vague.
Police described the shooter as a black male between 18 and 19 years old.
Police are now asking the public to look out for a red P.T. Cruiser.
Police say there were 20 to 30 people at the park that day, but say only a handful of witnesses have been interviewed.
If you have any information, call 480-WITNESS. There is a $1,000 reward and tips remain anonymous.
Gongora's family, along with police, will pass out flyers Saturday morning, between 9am and 11am, around the park.
