GOODYEAR, AZ - Goodyear police say two teens who had been missing since early Friday afternoon were found at around 8:30 Saturday morning.
The girls are reportedly in good health and the family has been contacted.
Officers said 13-year-old Alexis Edison and 14-year-old Victoria Mendoza were reported missing by their parents around 4 p.m. Friday.
Lt. J.S. DeHaan said officers received tips that the girls were seen near their school and they responded. It appears they spent the night at a church in the area.
Lt. DeHaan said the girls did not return home after leaving school because they were worried they would get into trouble for leaving school during the day.
