GLENDALE, AZ - An 85-year-old woman is in stable condition Tuesday after her house went up in flames.

The Glendale Fire Department responded to the fire near Peoria and 35th avenues around 6:30 p.m. Monday.

While battling the blaze, firefighters found the woman inside and removed her from the home.

Firefighters say the woman was treated for smoke inhalation and burns.
