GLENDALE, AZ - Multiple people were shot Sunday morning after a fight led to gunfire outside of an event in Glendale.
Officer Tracey Breeden of the Glendale Police Department said three people were shot in a parking lot near 75th and Glendale Avenues around 1:20 a.m. Sunday.
A juvenile female, a young adult male and an adult female suffered gunshot wounds and were transported to Valley hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said a large crowd of teenagers and young adults were attending an event at Eddie's Hookah Lounge when an altercation occurred and continued into the parking lot. At some point, words and gunfire were exchanged.
Police said that any possible suspects fled the scene before authorities arrived. They are asking anyone with information related to the shooting to contact the Glendale Police Violent Crimes Unit at 623-930-3000 or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
