GLENDALE, AZ - Police say a father and son were injured when they were confronted by two suspects at their Glendale home Saturday night.

Glendale police said that just before 10 p.m. two males, one with a gun, knocked on the door of a home near 64th and Missouri avenues and confronted the homeowner.

There was a struggle and the homeowner's father came outside to see what was going on.

Both the homeowner and his father were cut, possibly with a knife, and the suspects ran off to a waiting vehicle and drove away.

Police said the son was treated at the scene and the father was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment and later released.

The suspects are still on the loose.

Officers were on the scene throughout the night investigating. There was no immediate word on whether the victims and suspects knew each other.
