GLENDALE, AZ - The Arizona Cardinals could be moving their summer training camp to Glendale, according to a report from the Phoenix Business Journal .

The team could use the indoor field at University of Phoenix Stadium for practices, or use surrounding areas outside of the stadium.

On Tuesday, the Glendale City Council showed their support by voting to bid for the camp to move to Glendale.

The Cardinals currently hold their training camp in Flagstaff, where its camps at Northern Arizona University have been running since 1988.

The existing deal with NAU and the Cardinals ended this past summer.

The Phoenix Business Journal says NAU and Flagstaff are bidding to keep the camp, but there could be competing bids from Prescott, as well as Tempe.
