GLENDALE, AZ - Police are searching for a suspect after a fight outside a Glendale bar turned deadly.
Glendale police Officer Tracey Breeden said officers responded to Kahlua's Bar, near 51st Avenue and Camelback Road, a little after 2 a.m. where they found an adult male in a nearby parking lot with a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Breeden said investigators learned a verbal altercation that started in the bar between two adult males moved outside to the adjacent parking lot and continued there.
As the fight continued, an adult male produced a gun and shot the victim, Breeden said.
The suspect and three adult females fled the scene in a dark-colored four-door sedan.
The investigation is ongoing and police are asking anyone with information about the incident or suspect contact the Glendale Police Department at 623-930-3000 or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or 480-TESTIGO for Spanish.
The victim's name was not released by police.
