GLENDALE, AZ - One person was killed and another seriously injured in a two-vehicle wreck in Glendale Saturday.
The accident happened around 2 p.m. near 59th Avenue and Cactus Road.
Glendale Fire Department spokesman Randy Rodriguez said a Jeep occupied by an adult male and adult female was t-boned by a truck.
The woman was taken to a Phoenix hospital with critical injuries. The male was transported with serious injuries, according to Rodriguez. It has not been confirmed which victim died.
The driver of the truck had minor injuries, according to Rodriguez.
Glendale Police Sgt. Brent Coombs said it appeared the accident occurred when one vehicle made a left turn into a private drive in front of the other vehicle.
The victims have not been identified.
59th Avenue re-opened around 7 p.m.
