GLENDALE, AZ - Police say a teen has been taken to the hospital after a shooting in Glendale Friday.
According to Glendale police, the victim called 911 saying he had been shot at his home near 79th and Glendale avenues.
The teen's injuries are said to be serious but not life-threatening.
Glendale police spokeswoman Tracey Breeden said the teen also said some of his items had been stolen.
Breeden said detectives are working to piece together information and that the victim's story about the items stolen, suspect description and what happened before the shooting has been inconsistent.
