GLENDALE, AZ - One person has been taken to the hospital after a shooting in Glendale Sunday night.
Glendale police Lt. Earl Montgomery said the shooting happened just before 6:30 p.m. during an altercation between two people.
Montgomery said at least one firearm was produced and shots were fired.
One victim suffered a gunshot wound and was transported to the hospital.
The incident happened in a neighborhood near 67th Avenue and Bethany Home Road.
Montgomery did not release the condition of the victim. There was no word on whether a suspect was in custody.
The investigation is ongoing.
