GLENDALE, AZ - More than 400 Veterans are expected at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale Thursday, but not to see a game, they’re there with hopes of landing a job.
The Recruit Military Opportunity Expo is going on at the stadium Thursday from 11am to 3pm.
The event will have more than 30 companies looking to hire. Lockeed Martin, Prudential, The Transportation Security Administration and Coca Cola are just some of the businesses looking for employees.
Jasen Williams with Recruit Military says the companies are looking to hire for a broad variety of positions and he encourages everyone attending to check out every company possible.
The event is for anyone who has been in uniform and their spouses.
Williams says the drive, discipline, and overall work ethic of former members of the military make employers eager to hire.
