GLENDALE, AZ - Investigators with the Glendale Police Department are asking for your help to catch an armed robber who seems to be targeting dollar stores.
Detectives say the robber has already hit three stores in just the past month.
Police claim the robber strikes right before closing time.
Surveillance footage from June 1 showed the robber walk in to the Dollar Tree store at 82nd Avenue and Bell.
Investigators say he walked up to a store employee and showed the worker a knife concealed in his waistband.
The videotape then shows the robber forcing the Dollar Tree worker and another employee into a back room where he ordered them to open a safe and give him all the cash inside.
Glendale police say the same man robbed a Dollar General store at 51st Avenue and Peoria on May 15th and a Dollar Tree store at 50th Avenue and Olive on May 17th.
Investigators are urging anyone with information on the dollar store robber to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
