GLENDALE, AZ - Glendale police said they’re consulting with the FBI in order to come up with the right time to perform a lie detector test on the mother of missing 5-year-old Jhessye Shockley.
Jerice Hunter, who has been avoiding the media, was seen leaving her Glendale apartment around 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Neighbors told ABC15 Hunter went to see her newborn baby at Child Protective Services on 89th Avenue and Peoria.
CPS took Hunter’s baby shortly after the child was born.
Shortly before 1 p.m. Wednesday, Hunter returned to her home in a cab, which drove to the back of the apartment complex.
The cab driver later told ABC15 Hunter had requested she be taken to the back in order to avoid media.
